This blog in and of itself would be one I'd love to post! I don't mind if folks submit something they've already posted. But if you want to write something new, too, that's cool. I know I tend to focus on abuse because it's primarily what "broke" me to date, but this story about your child and diabetes is beautifully told, too. Hi Dan, this is sad but God is faithfull in all things. I pray that God will give you the much need grace to handlke this in Jesus Mighty Name. I had tears in my ears as I was reading, but God will see you through And a Miracle will come your way soon in Jesus Mighty Name AMen

Thanks for the kind and encouraging words! As you know, my faith, my love for my son, and my drive to rid him (and all people) of this condition are very interwoven. I have learned some amazing things through it all, and feel like it has made me a better father. But it is also time for a cure. I won't stop praying and working until it is finished!

What a tender, inspiring post, Dan.

I can only imagine what you and Krista go through on a daily basis. It is difficult to understand sickness in innocent children (and many other horrible issues) this side of heaven, yet God is really speaking to you in the midst of it all. And granting grace.

I was just reading in my Smith Wigglesworth devo this a.m. Initially this great evangelist prayed for the ill in a somewhat harsh manner. After he was afflicted with kidney stones and other afflictions, he became more tender toward those for whom he prayed. I sense that same tenderness in you, Dan.
