I can only imagine what you and Krista go through on a daily basis. It is difficult to understand sickness in innocent children (and many other horrible issues) this side of heaven, yet God is really speaking to you in the midst of it all. And granting grace.
I was just reading in my Smith Wigglesworth devo this a.m. Initially this great evangelist prayed for the ill in a somewhat harsh manner. After he was afflicted with kidney stones and other afflictions, he became more tender toward those for whom he prayed. I sense that same tenderness in you, Dan.

Thanks for the kind and encouraging words! As you know, my faith, my love for my son, and my drive to rid him (and all people) of this condition are very interwoven. I have learned some amazing things through it all, and feel like it has made me a better father. But it is also time for a cure. I won't stop praying and working until it is finished!
